This exhibit consists of a circular table with a printed top, a bright spotlight, and flexible plastic mirrors.

1. Participants can begin by experimenting with creating interesting reflections using the mirror. They can see that certain parts of the reflection are particularly bright, the caustic curves.
2. There are blue curves drawn on the table. If the participant bends the mirror to match these curves, particularly attractive caustic curves are generated.
3. There is also a grey caustic curve without a blue curve. The challenge for the visitor is to determine how to bend the mirror to create the caustic curve.
