Guide

This is a large wheel with the integers from 0 to 99. Visitors will enjoy spinning the wheel. The numbers are labeled with the same set of icons that are used on the Number Line. For example, the Fibonacci numbers are labeled with a rabbit and the primes are labeled with an atom.

There is a set of cards labeled with the same symbols (an atom, a rabbit, etc.). One game you can have visitors play is to choose 3 cards at random, and then pick which of the 3 families is most likely to come up when the wheel is spun.

As another puzzle, ask participants to look at the wheel and figure out how the numbers are ordered around the wheel. The answer is that each is 17 more than the one to its left, modulo 100 (ignoring the hundreds).
